Making Of The Archive
The production of the Archive of Fleeting Moments involves a meticulous process. Here’s a quick breakdown of how these videos are made:
The Concept:
Memories, dreams, recollections and thoughts are put together on a pool of ideas, this begins with a thorough brainstorming process that lists what will eventually become full length videos.
The Narrative:
Once an idea is selected for production, it is dissected and studied, all the visual elements and mood are conceived and a Descriptive Narrative is created to both give context to the video and convey the emotion that this idea is meant to hold.
This narrative aims to paint a vivid picture in the reader’s mind, primarily focusing on sensory details and imagery that combined with the audio and visuals, can produce an immersive experience in the viewer.
The Production:
The Archive of Fleeting Moments is produced using different types of digital media, depending on the concept, a different path is taken.
These medias include: Live Action footage or Photography, Full CG generated environment and Ai-Generated plates or elements for Compositing as well as original ambient audio and foleys for the soundtrack.
A concept is created using real reference images, mood boards and Ai tools to recreate a close representation of the environment, here’s an example:
